This position is a 20-hour per week, paid internship for the FALL of 2022, and is 100% remote.   The Marketing Intern is a motivated student and solution finder who will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator team and other Marketing team members to ensure MVP marketing strategies are effectively implemented. This role will have a wide variety of tasks assisting with day-to-day marketing projects and working closely with the Coordinator Team Lead in building and implementing marketing strategies at the hospital level. This person will collaborate with other members of the marketing team, third-party agencies and veterinary hospitals.

  Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) is adding a Veterinary Master Data Specialist to be an important member of our growing Strategic Iniatives Department.    Job Summary: Reporting to the VP of Strategic Initiatives, the Veterinary Master Data Specialist is responsible for aligning veterinary clinic-level specific data to a company-wide standard set of product and procedure codes (SKU List). This data resides today in our enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and drives dashboards and value-driven data solutions that are used throughout Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP). As the SKU List is fully completed, it will also ultimately reside in each hospitals’ practice management software.   The Veterinary Master Data Specialist will use their expertise and knowledge of companion animal veterinary products and services to gather data, complete and maintain a custom MVP Standardized SKU list of for our enterprise software. Additionally, they will work to validate accuracy of partial SKU list already created. The specialist will work closely with the PIMS, Continuous Improvement, Business Intelligence, and Medical Operations teams, along with several vendors to ensure the finished standardized product remains current, accurate and complete as we begin to scale into our new enterprise Practice Information Management Software (PIMS) solution. The ideal candidate will use their clinical veterinary experience to facilitate an efficient, high-volume integration process. The Veterinary Master Data Specialist will be deadline driven, collaborative, and will support project teams to ensure data is accurately analyzed, standardized, and integrated. Additional responsibilities will include improving data mapping processes, working with operations teams, and identifying opportunities to improve the standard set of codes.

This includes achieving medical and operational excellence that better serves the hospital clients, strengthens veterinary practices, positions MVP as an employer of choice and achieves strong financial performance.    The Regional Vice President is effective at communicating and gaining support for MVP corporate strategies across the hospitals they oversee. The Regional Vice President reports to the Chief Operating Officer.   Travel required: Frequent, 50%-75% Must have 5+ years of multi-site operations experience in small animal veterinary medicine (10+ clinics)
