Fountain Hills Veterinary Hospital in Fountain Hills, Arizona is hiring a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join our team! Ideally, we would like someone interested in expanding our services to offer urgent care.
About our clinic: Fountain Hills Veterinary Hospital is a full-service, small animal general practice offering the best in medical and surgical care. We have multiple laptops for in-room use, which are equipped with our electronic medical record software, AVImark. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and ultrasound. All our radiographs are sent out for review by a board-certified radiologist. Our doctor performs routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry, with pre-op lab work, IV catheter, and IV fluids required for all patients. Furthermore, we utilize the services of a mobile veterinary dentist for advanced dentistry cases. We also have several specialty clinics in the area for referrals. Most importantly, we have an amazing clientele! They are well-educated, loyal, and want the best for their pet, allowing our team to practice high level medicine.
Ideally, we are looking for a veterinarian that wants to help expand our services into urgent care! There are no other urgent cares or emergency clinics in the area, with the closest ER being 30+ minutes away. While there are other GPs in the area willing to take some walk-in's to help ease the stress, our community needs an urgent care option for their pets. We have a close-knit team who are friendly and hardworking. Our team loves to teach and is always hosting veterinary technician and assistant students, as well as vet students expanding their skills and applying their new knowledge over the summer. We all have a passion for teaching and making sure everyone is empowered and fulfilled in their positions and would love to have someone join our team who also has a passion for teaching.

Ideal qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience preferred
- Interest in urgent care
- Interest in teaching
- Desire to help the hospital grow and flourish, while providing a much-needed service to our beautiful, loyal community
- Arizona Veterinary License – active and in good standing
