Job Summary: The Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) provides leadership and training to the medical support staff in the operation of a small animal facility in accordance with hospital policy and procedures, and provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act. Job Summary: TheKennel Assistant provides daily care, feeding and exercise of boarding animals. The Kennel Assistant also pays close attention to animals’ general health signs such as signs of stress and changes in eating or elimination habits, promptly notifying technicians and veterinarians when a pet needs medical attention. The Kennel Assistantinteracts with clients in person and by phone and e-mail. Proper record documentation and accurate completion of boarding forms and cage cards is critical. The Kennel Assistantmust pay close attention to details, understand, and follow proper feeding and sanitation procedures and monitor boarding and hospitalized pets.

Pay Range: $14.00 - $15.00/hour (based on experience) Job Summary: The Receptionist is the first and last contact that a client will have with the hospital and a key to creating first and lasting impressions. The Receptionist must have exceptional client service and communication skills, computer literacy, ability to handle payment and financial issues, ability to multi-task, a friendly attitude and confidence to deal with stressful situations. The Receptionist will support veterinarians, technicians, veterinary assistants, groomers and kennel staff in daily patient and client care.

Medical Director Position

MVP is seeking an ambitious and team-oriented veterinary surgeon (Preferably 3-5 years out of school) with an interest in dentistry, to lead Gibraltar Veterinary Hospital (GVH) as its Medical Director. This is the perfect opportunity for a veterinarian who is passionate about surgery but also interested in either owning their own practice or transitioning into a non-clinical role with endless leadership opportunity.
In this role, the Medical Director will provide a variety of animal healthcare duties in the hospital, as well as management, mentorship, and career development for veterinarian staff. Moreover, this individual will ensure the regulatory compliance of the animal hospital as well as develop, approve, and maintain veterinary standards of care for all patients. The Medical Director is also responsible for ensuring an environment of positive teamwork within hospital staff. Active and productive collaboration between staff members is critical to the success of this position!

Schedule: Flexible (20 hours clinic / 10-20 hours managerial), 2-3 clinical days in association with hospital needs.
· Licensed State Veterinarian (active and clear)
· Experience in GP, soft tissue surgery and/or orthopedic surgery
· Previous Medical Director and leadership experience preferred, but not required
· Interest in dentistry a plus!
